Today, we’re introducing Sunlight Workers, a new app from Yavqo for creating AI teammates that can work alongside you and your team.
Sunlight Workers is beginning in Early Access, giving us the opportunity to build the product closely with a smaller group of people before making it available more broadly.
From conversations to work
Most AI experiences begin and end with a conversation. You ask a question, receive an answer, and decide what to do next.
Sunlight Workers is built around a different idea. Instead of only telling you how to complete something, a Worker can be given a role, tools, and a task to accomplish.
A Worker could research information across the web, organize files, work with connected services, prepare reports, help manage repetitive workflows, or collaborate with other Workers on larger projects.
You define what needs to get done. Your Workers help carry it forward.
Your own team of AI Workers
Every Worker can have its own role and responsibilities.
You might create a research Worker that gathers information for your team, a development Worker that helps investigate bugs, or a marketing Worker that prepares campaign materials.
For more complex work, multiple Workers can collaborate. One Worker might collect information while another analyzes it and prepares the final result.
Instead of relying on one general-purpose assistant for everything, Sunlight Workers lets you build a team around the way you work.
Workers that remember
Useful teammates understand context.
Sunlight Workers is being designed with persistent memory so Workers can retain relevant information about their responsibilities, previous tasks, preferences, and the way you want work completed.
Over time, a Worker can build a better understanding of its role instead of beginning every task from zero.
Give Workers the tools they need
A capable AI Worker needs more than a language model.
Sunlight Workers can use tools and connected services to interact with the systems involved in a task. Depending on the Worker and the permissions you provide, this can include browsing the web, working with files, using APIs, interacting with applications, and performing multi-step workflows.
We're building Sunlight Workers around extensibility so Workers can gain new capabilities as the platform grows.
Work that continues
Not every task should require someone sitting in front of a chat window.
Sunlight Workers is designed for work that can continue independently. Workers can handle longer-running tasks and recurring workflows, helping teams automate work that would otherwise require repeated manual attention.
This could mean having a Worker prepare information before you start your day, regularly check something your team depends on, or complete a recurring workflow when it needs to happen.
You stay in control
Giving AI the ability to take action also requires clear boundaries.
Sunlight Workers is being built with human control at its core. Workers operate with defined permissions, and important actions can require approval before they are completed.
Our goal is not to remove people from important decisions. It is to remove unnecessary work around those decisions.
Starting with Early Access
Sunlight Workers isn't broadly available yet.
We're starting with a limited Early Access period while we test the platform, improve how Workers operate, and learn how people use them for real work.
During this first stage, we're prioritizing members of the Yavqo Partner and Creator communities.
Eligible partners and creators will receive an email from Yavqo with their Early Access invitation and information about how to get started. Invitations will be sent directly, so there is no action required to request access at this stage.
Access will remain limited while we continue developing the platform. We plan to gradually bring more people into Sunlight Workers as the experience becomes ready for a wider audience.
Building the next generation of work
We believe AI will increasingly move beyond being something you simply talk to.
It will become something you work with.
Sunlight Workers is our step toward that future: persistent AI teammates that can understand their responsibilities, use tools, collaborate, and turn instructions into completed work.
Early Access is only the beginning. We'll have much more to share as Sunlight Workers develops.
